Gowon: Don't Remove Ngige: Oh Really?
NigerianNews Editorial

We believe the Ngige removal should be left NOT to Gowon or the PDP. If Ngige and his God-father are found to have rigged the election as claimed by the God-father, Ngige should be booted out of office by the Tribunal.

The AD complained of how the PDP rigged them out of everything in the South West, but hurried to Awka to welcome Ngige to their midst. Chief Chekwas Okorie did not bother that his own candidate was the victim of this alleged rigging by Ngige and his God-father, yet he wants Ngige in his own branch of the now divided APGA! What is the desperate Okorie's fraction of APGA going to do with Chief Peter Obi, the APGA candidate Ngige would have rigged out? What is the problem with these people who seem to be bereaved of conscience?

Is Gowon saying that if it is proven that Ngige got into the Governor's office through unconstitutional means, he should be allowed to remain in office?  We hope his objection is only as it relates to PDP, a party which seems to be the alpha and the omega of the Nigerian politics.

We wish the Tribunal which is going on at a snail pace now in Anambra would hurry up and give us, the hopeless, some hope. None of these people can give us succor. The fear of riots is not a substitute for justice, and justice does not have to mean "just us" as the PDP seems to think.
